The Netherlands is one of my favorite countries to get cozy in. Though Amsterdam is its most famous city, there are many areas of The Netherlands that are well worth your time.

Dutch people are friendly, charming, excellent at English, and often eager to tell you about their interests. If you’ve ever been on the fence about a visit, now is the time to plan it. Amsterdam has become even more lovely in the last ten years, embracing an international culture, and boasting some of the best multinational food I ate in Europe.
