Germany is a country of so much pride. They are proud of their well-constructed landmarks. They are proud of their culture. They are proud of their excellence in engineering. They are proud of their beer.

Though their pride is evident, it was their humanity that won me over. Germans love to splash in the river on a good sunny day. They love to tell you what to order at their favorite restaurant. Most of all, they love to tell you about what makes Germany uniquely German.
